Recipes/Bacon Alfredo

Ingredients:

 4 slices bacon
 30ml butter
 250ml heavy cream
 2 cloves garlic, crushed
 375ml (75g) grated Parmesan cheese
 1ml salt
 ~ 300g of fresh pasta or 200g of dry pasta

Instructions

 1. chop bacon and fry until crispy.   reserve 30ml of bacon fat
 2. add reserved bacon fat to butter and cream and garlic in medium pot and heat until boiling 
 3. reduce to simmer for 1 minute
 4. add 125ml of the Parmesan  and whisk until smooth (about 1 minute)
 5. add in bacon bits and mix 

Meanwhile prepare pasta to al-dente (around 3minutes for fresh pasta). Pour sauce over pasta in warm bowl, and add 125ml of Parmesan cheese and mix gently.

Serve with remaining 125ml of Parmesan
